The special interest bankrolling Measure I wants to make it MORE difficult to own a home in Artesia — leaving our valuable educators and first responders locked out of the local housing market.

Measure I would also violate the city’s own housing goals and place Artesia at risk of state bureaucrats in Sacramento coming in to mandate other housing solutions — including high-rise towers!

That’s not what the people of Artesia want.

The special interest industrial business funding Measure I is telling lies to benefit their business— while telling YOU how you can live, and where.

Measure I would only benefit THEM, not YOU!

Artesia deserves better for its teachers, police, and firefighters to live locally.

Special interests want to hurt teachers, police, and firefighters!

Measure I will cost Artesia close to $1 Million in future election costs

With high inflation, Artesia residents can’t afford to foot the bill!

Increased election costs could mean fewer first responders for Artesia — leaving us unable to pay for local police and fire at a time when we need our first responders the most.

Measure I doesn’t strengthen our economy — it would cost us more at a time when many families in our community are struggling.

The backers of Measure I are working for THEIR interests — not OURS!

SPECIAL INTERESTS WANT TO COMPLICATE FUTURE ELECTIONS — AND SEND YOU THE $1 MILLION BILL!

DON’T LET A SPECIAL INTEREST DONOR WRECK OUR SCHOOL FUNDING!

Local housing property taxes contribute to healthy revenue for both the city and our schools.

No growth in housing means less tax revenue for the city AND lower enrollment in our schools, which means less money for teachers!

Measure I would weaken Artesia’s economy and weaken our schools!

VOTE NO ON MEASURE I!

Measure I will limit Artesia’s progress on Artesia Blvd. — harming businesses already devastated by the pandemic that are just getting back on their feet.

The special interest measure limits our options for housing and small businesses — taking the choice away from the people of Artesia.

See for yourself: Measure I has nothing to do with taxes — and everything to do with one special interest trying to buy the election and protect their own special projects.
